“ Got the sampler so we could get 5 different flavors of mini pies. We got a lemon Chess if you arent fond of lemon meringues texture but enjoy tart citrus flavors, this may be a great choice for you, a chocolate pie similar to chocolate pudding with a deeper flavor and a more solid consistency , sweet potato my favorite!, raspberry keylime a bit tart with a balanced fruity addition, and a blackberry cobbler with whole berries! Loved the pies so much, decided we need to go back some time to take advantage of a special gift offer that includes a stainless steel pie server, a basket, and a cloth napkin. Hopefully still in supply by then! ”

“ Love having Shampas as my local bakery. They stepped up and saved a holiday, when I had last minute changes happen. They have increased the availability of hand pies in store. They branched out and make cookies. The large pies are a wonderful treat for when I host, or to take to an event. Not a fan of the crusttofilling ratio of the sampler pies. But I LOVE the hand pies. Proper ratio, that includes on outer flakey, crunchiness. The brown butter cookies...omg, they do not fall for the trap of cloying chewiness. They are a great balance of crispy bottom sandy edges and top, with a chewy middle. Not a cookie style found much anymore. Definitely a cookie for cookie baking aficionados. What is available instore varies greatly day to day, but since they sell at Farmers Markets, hitting it up close to a Saturday is the sweet spot. ”

“ Mad local! Peach pie had a buttery, flaky crust filled with perfectly cooked peaches not soggy or soft. The filling was slightly bland it might have needed more spices, lemon juice, or sugar. But I had it cold, so its hard to say. I also had a brown butter cookie, which had a crisp, browned exterior with a gooey, chewy interior. Everything I like in a chocolate chip cookie. I will definitely be back to try more from Shampas. I have since been back to Shampas, and I picked up the lemon chess and apple pies. The lemon chess was outstanding, like a lemon bar with pie crust. Apple filling was nicely toothsome and well spiced. Crust was lovely as always. Got another chocolate chip cookie too, dont miss those. ”

“ Had wanted to visit this place since reading about Haruwn Wesley, the owner, passing away in a surfing accident. There is a large photo of him visible from outside the store. Bought 3 mini pies key lime, sweet potato, strawberry rhubarb cobbler all were delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Wished I lived closer so I could support them more often...! Highly recommend. ”
